Over the past three plus decades he has been delivering quality health care to patients with lower extremity health problems due to injury, disease, or hereditary maladies. After undergraduate studies at the University of Detroit and Eastern Michigan University, Dr. LaRose completed his post graduate studies at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, Ca. He completed his internship and residency training at Highland Alameda County Hospital, Civic Center Hospital and California College of Podiatric Medicine. Before relocating to Southern California, Dr. LaRose was hired by Kaiser Permanente Northern California, and developed the Podiatry department at Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo, CA. Dr. LaRose is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Medicine. Dr. LaRose's areas of professional interest include pediatrics, sports medicine, trauma, reconstructive surgery and neuropathy. Dr. LaRose is a past President of the California Podiatric Medical Association and served as President of the Podiatric Medical Board for the State of California. He has a Master's Degree in Medical Education form Pepperdine University, and is a member of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons."

What People Say About Dr. James LaRose, DPM
If you are an athlete do not go to this guy. Get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion elsewhere. He left me with a permanent injury from a surgery he performed on me NOT discussed prior to surgery.

I think hes awesome I am so glad to have him as my doctor, I've been through three others that couldn't find any wrong and dr la rose did and fixed the problem without incident. He's very thorough. I always recommend him.

First time visitors are no problem. It's all about making the money. If they don't feel they can make any off of you. You will be placed on hold when calling for return visits. Still having foot problems with no dr in sight.
