Irina Middleton's bio

This content was provided by Irina Middleton "As a Clinical Audiologist, I conduct diagnostic testing such as audiological evaluations (hearing tests), vestibular evaluations (balance testing) and tinnitus assessment and management. I work directly with patients to explore different methods of treatment for hearing loss. This includes working with hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other non-traditional amplification options. I hope to become a good resource for my patients to turn to if they are having difficulties. Whether it be related to balance disorders, tinnitus or their hearing loss, I want patients to feel confident in coming to Jefferson for guidance. I've worked with patients in the past who as a result of their hearing loss have lost interest in participating in their daily activities. It can become very frustrating for them. The work that I do, that we do, is centered on helping to find the appropriate solutions for each individual patient. No two people have the same hearing loss, nor do they have the same experiences as a result of their hearing loss. "
