His career began as a Probation Officer for BI, Incorporated in Rome, Georgia, working primarily with adults adjudicated in the Floyd County Superior Court. He was promoted to Operations Manager for the Rome office, before leaving to pursue his MSW. Frank attended the University of Georgia while working alongside his father, Frank Pratt Jr. MD (Psychiatry) as Practice Manager at Gordon Behavioral Sciences. While at UGA, he worked at practicum placements at Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital and the Regional Youth Detention Center in Dallas, GA. After earning his MSW, Frank returned to Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital as a Social Service Provider, working on three acute psychiatric units. He was promoted to a supervisory position, and provided administrative and clinical supervision for numerous social service staff members. He served as member of the Forensic Review Committee. Frank received his license as a Clinical Social Worker in 2010, and joined the Case Management department at Cartersville Medical Center shortly thereafter. Frank worked in the Emergency Department, and as a Discharge Planner. Frank decided to return to the mental health sector after working at CMS for 2 years. He joined Anka Behavioral Health in Rome, Georgia as an ACT Team Clinician. At Anka, Frank provided intensive services to individuals who were at high risk for hospitalization. Anka was very successful in helping roughly 100 individuals lead a normal, healthy life in the community, despite the barriers they face regarding their illnesses. Anka closed its doors at the end of 2012. At that time, Frank returned to Gordon Behavioral Sciences on a full time basis as a therapist. He also provides diagnostic assessment & therapy services at Eastchester Family Services in Cartersville, GA.
