Dr. Carlson listened to my whole life story without interrupting me once. It only took me about three visits for me to feel like he had taught me how to begin to cope with my past trauma. I highly reccomend Dr. Carlson.

Nice guy, but I probably wouldn't recommend. A lot of the time, he tends to do most of the talking and can tell stories that have no relevance to your situation. It can be a little frustrating because without really listening to what you have to say, he'll make quick assertions without really...more

I am sorry to hear that you apparently felt so negatively about your recent experience at this office. While it fortunately doesn't appear to be a typical experience, I am always open to other viewpoints. Through my theoretical orientation of cognitive behavioral I strongly value Listening, accurate assessment, and exploring goals and obstacles from a client's unique perspective. I will always be open to anything that would help or improve the process of resolving identified isssues.
