Custom foot orthotics are not always covered by the patients insurance plan. One comment misunderstood my office policy.  My office calls the insurance plan first to see if this is a covered benefit. If it is not, we let the patient know prior to fabrication of the custom foot orthotics.  There was a comment about orthotics that was incorrect on a post.
