Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
Although originally from Upstate New York, I have lived in Alabama and Florida most of my adult life. We have lived on the Eastern Shore for 20 years, and love the lifestyle it affords. My wife is a teacher in the Baldwin County public schools, and our son is a Junior at Daphne High School. Being able to live here and work here is an absolute pleasure! In addition to my experience as a private practitioner, I have taught at Florida State University, Sante Fe Community College, the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, and the University of South Alabama College of Education. I was a Psychologist V for the Alabama Department of Mental health for 5 years, a contract mental health clinician for the Alabama Department of Corrections, and a consultant to 3 sleep disorders centers in Mobile. I've co-authored 3 books, and over a dozen refereed journal articles, and write fiction in my spare time. I have as a co-investigator on several experimental pharmaceutical studies and served as a physician educator for Upjohn-Searle Pharmaceuticals. I am also active as Committee Chair for Troop 177 of the Boy Scouts and play terrible golf with my son, who is 4th-year varsity golfer at Daphne High.
