In addition to her experience with treating sports injuries, Dr. Gulrajani is certified in the McKenzie Technique for the lumbar spine; functional movement techniques (Rocktape); and FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab). Dr. Gulrajani is also full spine certified through the Motion Palpation Institute, and she specializes in treating headaches. Dr. Deepa Gulrajani received her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Wellness Management from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and is currently working to complete her Masters program in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction, where she will graduate in July 2016. Dr. Deepa Gulrajani completed the clinical phase of her education as a resident at a multi-disciplinary practice, South Shore Neurologic Associates in Riverhead, NY. Working alongside other healthcare professionals such as Neurologists, Physical Therapists, a Nurse Practitioner and Acupuncturist, Dr. Deepa Gulrajani gained interest in pain management and neurology, learning where chiropractic is best suited in a co-management model of healthcare. Looking to challenge her academic growth, Dr. Deepa Gulrajani decided to pursue a diplomate program through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board that she is still currently enrolled in. Dr. Deepa Gulrajani is a proud member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC), the New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA), ACA Sports Council, and the New Jersey Chiropractic Council on Sports Injuries & Rehabilitation. Dr. Deepa Gulrajani has volunteered time at the 2015 Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes and assisted as a part of the Medical Staff for the 2015 Stand-Up Paddle race around Manhattan. With her leadership skills and passion for the chiropractic profession, she currently serves as the Immediate Past Chair for the Student American Chiropractic Association and is the youngest member of the Alumni Advisory Council for New York Chiropractic College.
