Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Nathan "I work with a wide variety of clients and families.  My goal is to help my clients increase their sense if self-esteem, self-confidence, enhance their success in their work or school, and improve their sense of contentment in their lives and relationships.

Many of my clients have never seen a mental health professional before.  My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive setting in which clients can set the pace.  I have no interest in clients feeling guilty or uncomfortable during appointments; this would be completely counter-productive to the process of therapy.  Instead, I work to help clients recognize their strengths and capacities they may or may not be aware of and use those strengths as tools to solve problems they face.   I also help clients learn new ways to address difficulties so they can find greater success, greater self-esteem and greater contentment day to day.  "

Dr. Nathan helped my husband and I better understand our daughter who suffered from ADHD. He listens and taught us useful strategies to help us parent and avoid fights at home. I would recommend him to other parents of children who experience difficulties with critical thinking skills.
