This content was provided by Dr. Money "David grew up in a small ranching community in northern Wyoming and moved to Santa Fe in 2009. He became interested in Eastern healing methods in 1977 while learning martial arts from a Taiwanese Kung Fu teacher. As part of his early Kung Fu training program, his teacher taught him the basics of using Chinese herbal liniments to heal joint injuries and mend broken bones. Following graduation from high school, David attended the University of Wyoming where he studied wildlife management and microbiology. In conjunction with his coursework he worked as a lab tech at the Wyoming Game and Fish Research Laboratory where he learned the importance of preventative medicine. After receiving a bachelor's degree in science in 1989, he began a 23-year long career as a state fish health inspector and pathologist. During his tenure as state fish pathologist, David also continued in his pursuit of Eastern healing methods. In 1992 under the guidance of his Tai Chi teacher, he began studying the 24 Health Exercises of the Shaolin Temple, Yang Style Tai Chi, and the Five Element Chi Kung system. After seeing the positive effects that the Tai Chi and Shaolin exercises had on the health of fellow students, he decided in 2009 to retire from his pathologist position to dedicate his time and efforts toward studying Chinese medicine and teaching the health benefits of Tai Chi and Chi Kung. This passion led him to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2012, David received a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe and national certification as diplomat of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He holds a Doctor of Oriental Medicine license in New Mexico and continues to promote Chi Kung and Tai Chi. "
