Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
Dr. Freidson began his education at the University of Wisconsin Madison, obtaining a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science in 2002. In 2005 Dr. Freidson obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. (Click here to see the similarities and differences between the education of doctors of chiropractic and medical doctors). Dr. Freidson worked as a personal trainer while finishing his bachelor's degree and while in chiropractic school. He obtained the highest level of personal training which is the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Although Dr. Freidson no longer does personal training, he uses his knowledge on exercise to customize rehabilitation programs for his patients, and he will also develop exercise routines to help people work around their areas of pain. Dr. Freidson experienced benefits of muscle work since high-school, such as improved athletic performance and pain reduction. Because of this he knew that he wanted to not only be an expert of the skeletal system, but also of the muscular system. So, he became certified in Active Release Technique (ART), immediately after he finished Chiropractic School. He chose ART because it is the gold standard soft tissue technique. Soon after becoming becoming a licensed physician, Dr. Freidson realized that people would leave his office feeling great, only to undo the benefits at work. That is why he started learning about ergonomics and occupational health. Dr. Freidson recently completed the course work necessary to become one of 100 chiropractors in the country with a diplomate in occupational health. Dr. Freidson is the company chiropractic physician for Tempur Sealy, PepsiCO and Plastics and Molding. Dr. Freidson has also been granted Associate Clinical Faculty status for Northwestern Health Sciences University and provides internships to students looking to complete their education in a successful clinical setting. To date, he has personally mentored five students as they have successfully made their way to doctor status. In Dr. Freidson's free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and their two children. He practices what he preaches and exercises most days of the week. He enjoys movies and reading (mainly journals and text books relating to his profession), as well as spending time with family and friends.
