This content was provided by Dr. Dahl "In addition to clinical neuropsychology, addictions treatment, family therapy and psychotherapy for a wide range of conditions and ages, I have taught in 6 area graduate schools, worked in 6 state prisons, 1 forensic hospital, 1 brain injury rehabilitation hospital and oupatient program, 5 addiction treatment centers, initiated and maintained and trained volunteers in a community based hospice society and led 7 congregations as an evangelical priest/pastor. My roots are sunk deep in the good soil of practical Midwestern and Canadian values and kindness. Significant additional training in Bowen Family Systems Theory and Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Theory and Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Trauma Treatment position me to serve people as they are and humanely assist them to discover resources in themselves, their families and their spiritual commitments to live balanced lives. David was calm and friendly. Though I felt like his sessions were not information dense. When he was telling something he was speaking slow and made long pauses between sentences, that looked like he was just playing for time. Sessions used to start 5 min later and end 5 min earlier. Excellent. He listens and gives what is needed. It may not always be what you want to hear but he is courteous and honest. He also clearly answers and explains any questions you have and is genuinely concerned for what is best for you.
