Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
The initial psychological services that I provide to my clients are intended to provide a clear understanding of the issues, concerns, and problems that each individual/couple/family bring into my office for help and assistance. After this is achieved appropriate plans and goals are then developed; which will allow for the treatment that is best suited for each individual's needs and interests. I work actively with my clients with the full knowledge that the best working therapist/client relationships are based on trust and open communication. For the most effective and longest lasting results from this therapeutic process, I will be asking participants to work on things that I discuss during the session. This may require a specific role play exercise to be done between a couple, family or individual. Often short reading material is given/suggested to help you familiarize yourself with the issue we are working on. Most importantly, if at any time you feel uncomfortable with our discussion and/or my approach, I ask that you immediately bring this to my attention. It takes a lot of courage to come to therapy, especially if it is the first time, or for an issue that you may be initially uncomfortable discussing. One of my goals is to make you feel at ease and comfortable with whatever your issues, concerns or problems may be. I operate from a very non-judgmental perspective. This I feel is the only way that will benefit you in what you are trying to achieve for the improvements and wellbeing in your life.
