Dr. Chad Friedman grew up in the Bucks County area and attended Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Friedman completed his residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC, where he was chief resident in his third year. Although he first practiced in Central New Jersey, Dr. Friedman was eager to move closer to home and family as he proudly joined Podiatry Care Specialists in West Chester, PA. Dr. Friedman is a board certified foot surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Certified Wound Specialist. He is currently Chief of Podiatry at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital, as well as Secretary for the Department of Surgery. He is also on staff at Paoli Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, and the Penn Medicine Chester County Wound Care Center. Dr. Friedman has received the honor of being named a Top Doctor in Main Line Today in 2010 and 2013. He enjoys treating all foot and ankle conditions including wound care and limb salvage. Due to his love of learning, Dr. Friedman enjoys teaching and working with the Podiatric residents at Bryn Mawr and Paoli Hospitals. Beyond his dedication to the podiatry profession, he has strong interests in technology and professional sports. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
