Great Experience
Carol gave us the tools and helped us develop the skills to see one another's needs, to identify our patterns of behavior and communication that were detracting from our connection, and to repair some of the issues that we'd been facing for some time. Each session left us feeling more seen, more connected and stronger as both a couple and as individuals. Carol created a safe space for us both to explore our pasts and how our pasts affect our current connection, communication patterns, and behaviors. This knowledge has proven invaluable within our relationship and has also positively affected our familial relationships, friendships, and work relationships. Our sessions were all entirely virtual, and Carol did a wonderful job of making us feel as connected as we would have been during an in-person session. We would highly recommend Carol for any couple that's looking to strengthen their connection to one another as well as their understanding of themselves as individuals.

Carol is an absolutely amazing therapist! When we started therapy there were issues in our relationship that we worried would never go away, but through emotionally focused therapy Carol was able to help us discover the underlying emotional issues that were driving us to fight with each other. We started therapy a couple of months before the pandemic, and initially when the lockdown happened we were concerned online therapy might not feel the same or be as effective. But we knew how important it was to continue working together to fix problems at home so we decided to continue our therapy online. We are SO glad we did! Carol did a great job making us feel comfortable and helped us to communicate the same way we would have in her office. Doing therapy online also helped us to practice heathy and positive communication in our own home, instead of stepping into a “bubble” in an office and then potentially falling back into old habits when we returned to our home environment.

We started therapy with Carol a week before Covid shut everything down. For the first couple of weeks she had a bit of difficultly getting used to sharing graphics via zoom but after the first couple of weeks, she got the hang of it. Therapy worked just fine via virtual format. Carol was great to work with and helped us tremendously. I like the idea of emotional focused therapy because (as a technical person), having a define process/game plan to work through is way better than just having gripe sessions. I’d recommend her to any struggling couple.

We went to Carol in a deep crisis and both viewed it as a last chance. Carol compassionately helped us navigate through our issues and was a calming force in what was a hurricane at the time. She never judged either of us but instead helped us focus on our issues, feeling , and communications. She saved our marriage without a doubt and we will be forever grateful to her. If you and your loved one are at that point where you think its hopeless, I would urge you to at least give her (and your relationship) a chance.

Working with Carol was the best thing we could have possibly done for our marriage; she is absolutely remarkable and she transformed our relationship into what we knew it could be. We had been to marriage counseling before, but Carol's use of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) was incredibly effective because she worked with us to discover what was "under" the emotions we were feeling. We always looked forward to sessions with Carol because it was the chance to discover why we were feeling and acting the way we were. Carol guided us on a journey of discovery that put us in a place that is almost indescribably wonderful as a married couple. My wife and I had been struggling to get along, and neither of us could see how our relationship could possibly improve. Carol's expertise proved crucial as she walked with us on our journey and my wife and I have regained a loving, wonderful marriage. We are so very grateful to Carol and we highly recommend her; she is a gifted counselor!

After our experience with Carol and Emotionally Focused Therapy, I truly believe that every couple, dating or married, should do it. Whether you are in crisis or think you are just fine, EFT will teach you how to be the best partner for each other. And if there is a better therapist out there than Carol, I challenge anyone to find them. I don’t know how she does it. She is patient, soft spoken, genuine and impartial. Our sessions were our date night because we always left feeling lighter and more connected. We learned so much about ourselves and came out of it with the tools we needed to be a real team. I will never have the words to thank Carol properly. From the beginning, I have been recommending EFT and Carol to my loved ones who are struggling.

Carol is the best at what she does. She saved our marriage, made it stronger and we learned more about our emotional selves, deep-rooted fears, and why they effected our relationship. A true and deeper connection was made. Emotionally Focused Therapy with Carol, by far has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Possibly the most transformative. I was in pain, scared, fearful and an emotional mess. When I researched marriage counselors, her website contents (especially), her credentials and my first phone contact with Carol, I instinctively new she was the one. That instinct manifested itself, bloomed and became true. Love took on a new meaning for me. Initially thought she was a marriage mechanic or engineer, a fixer. No, Carol is a marriage whisperer. Thank you Carol for the love you have given, and my deeper love for my wife you nurtured. You are the best. Warmth and love, Ron

Carol is nothing less than brilliant when working with couples who are in crisis mode. Her ability to patiently listen to both parties without judgement, and gracefully guide them towards a better understanding of how their pain, fears, and self-doubts affect their relationship is remarkable. She is passionate about her work and it is obvious from the start that she cares deeply about outcomes of her couples. My husband and I had hit a point of 'no return' in our relationship a few years ago; after years of not addressing the 'big white elephant' in the room, we thought our next step would be a divorce. Carol taught us to listen to ourselves and each other, and to reach out in times of pain for comfort and understanding. With her patience, kindness, and through her guidance, we were able to find each other again. We are stronger and more in love than we ever thought possible. Thank you, Carol, for helping us find each other once again.

My husband and I grew apart like many couples. This was most apparent when our children grew up and left the house. Once that happens, there are no more games to watch, school functions to attend, and taxi service to provide. Our children were gone, and we were left with each other and the issues that we had buried because there was no time before, come to the surface. When we went to see Carol, we were not in a good place. Carol helped us deal with cycles and find out what was truly behind
