He has over 30 years experience in working with marital/relationship issues, treating addictive disorders and both anxiety and depressive disorders. He has worked in almost every milieu, from inpatient residential treatment facilities to outpatient community mental health, and has exclusively worked with impaired professionals, including physicians, dentists, pharmacists, and attorneys in both the Medical Board of California and State Bar of California.
