AWFUL !!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This was my first visit with her today and she was the rudest most unprofessional physician I’ve ever encountered. Rushed the whole visit, was rude, and didn’t even introduce herself so I didn’t know who she was for the whole visit. Once I got in the room I had barely sat down before she rushed me to “look up” I was disoriented from the dilating drops so I was trying to get situated. In short, I’ll never see this “doctor” again

No intention to listen to patient, and arrogant. Her attitude and behavior tells me that I should not trust her diagnosis. I know doctors are busy people but treating patients with some basic level of respect and dignity regardless of how "busy" they are. She treats you like some object that she has to get done and over with as quickly as possible.

Doesn't appear to care about patients or co-worker
One of the more selfish and least helpful doctors I've ever seen. Dr. Adair didn't even introduce herself to me, bother to use/learn my name, or treat me in any way to indicate she was interested in my health. I asked a specific question about symptoms and received a very hasty and difficult to understand response, while she was typing notes. I presume this was so she could save time but neglecting patient questions, or really anything about them, is not acceptable. She was also rude and cold with her co-worker who assisted. Support staff and facility were excellent. I will seek another doctor at NYU.

Highly Unprofessional
Had to see her for a contact lens fitting at NYU. She's highly unprofessional and forgetful. I went to pick up my trials lens and which did not fit properly and she forgot to put in the new order. I had to pay another copay just to see her. As I was speaking to her about it she had the nerve to get an attitude with me as if it was my fault. If they send you for a contact lens fitting with her turn around. Find another doctor. Also if you're paying out of pocket don't even bother. You pay $450.00 for a student to check your eyes and only see her for five minutes. She's a waste of money and oxygen.

Couldn’t have imagined a more empathetic and worry free experience while having my eyes evaluated. Wouldn’t trust my most important sense in the hands of anyone else

Dr. Adar put me in the wrong contacts, and I almost got run over by a car due to a lack of vision. The issue was how she handled the incident. I communicated with her, and she refused to admit that she made a mistake. She was arrogant and unprofessional, NYU still proceeded to charge for the visit, and I refused to see her again. She could have been professional, admit the error. I would have accepted that. A Dr with that attitude doesn't even deserve one star.
