This content was provided by Bradford Salzman "I grew up in Southern California before moving to the East Coast to attend Yale University in 1991. After receiving my BA from Yale, I spent several years studying in Israel, before returning to the States to receive my MS from Columbia University in New York City. I then received my training in Sexual Addiction Treatment from Dr. Patrick Carnes, the world's leader and pioneer of sex addiction research and therapy. I received my Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) certification from the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). Before I opened my private practice, I worked at some of the top outpatient mental health clinics in New York City, where I gained wide-ranging experience treating hundreds of clients from diverse backgrounds who were seeking help for a wide variety of mental health and addiction issues. In 2010, I opened the New York Sexual Addiction Center in Midtown New York City and Monsey, New York. In 2014, I opened the Kivun Recovery Center in Jerusalem, Israel. I see clients face-to-face in my offices and also see clients all over the world via webcam (Skype). I am married and live with my wife and 4 children. In my free time I enjoy krav maga, performing with an improv comedy team, and raising Muscovy ducks."
This content was provided by Bradford Salzman "I believe that sex, pornography, and relationship addictions are treatable, and that both addicts and their partners can achieve great success through working together with the right therapist. I have helped hundreds of men and women struggling with these sex, porn, and love addictions as well as their partners to recover their lives and their relationships. While there is no quick fix, clients are often surprised to discover how much better their lives can be while working with me. I help my clients to achieve long-lasting sobriety, personal integrity, and to regain control over their lives. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating my training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Psychodynamic, Family-of-Origin, and Trauma-Based therapies. Please call now for a free consultation. I believe in a holistic approach to treating addiction, which emphasizes not only mental health but physical and spiritual health as well."
