I use my personal experiences when working with those affected to help normalize their experiences. I belong to the Coalitions on Addictions, a professional organization, to further my continuing education in the field of addiction."

This content was provided by Dr. Karoll "I believe in helping the client empower themselves to take control of their lives, especially with regard to addictions and mental illness. I work from a harm reduction model understanding the difficulties in making serious behavioral changes. When necessary, the client's use of psychotropic medications is supported while participation in 12 step programs is not required."

After an almost life-long struggle with addiction, and mental illness, I was referred to Dr. Karoll. Through his own experience, and education, he provides a very individualized treatment program. He is very professional, and an amazing mentor to anyone who has ever thought they were beyond help.

Dr. Karoll is always available, day or night, in case of emergency. He is friendly and compassionate, yet focused and firm as regards addressing the issue(s) at hand concerning the care of his patients. His patients are his #1 priority. Sessions begin and end on time.
