I always go to Connecticut Orthopedic for all my injuries. Dr. Barnes takes the time to go over the exercise in a detailed manner. All of the staff are wonderful and personable.

This was my first visit with Dr Barnes and he definetley exceeded my expectations. He is very knowledgable, trusting, approachable and compassionate. I have seen many physical therapists and chiroprators but Dr Barnes is very different in his approach and technique, he treats the individual and customizes a treatment plan. I was in pain and very nervous about my appointment but I left feeling so much better. I now have a greater understanding of my condition and he has taken the time to really show me how to take care of myself for the best outcome. He really is a great doctor and I am happy I met him. I will be working with him to heal my injuries and most definetley will refer him to others. Thank you for everything.

Dr. Barnes has helped me in my recovery of pain management more than any doctor that I have met in my 59 years of medical treatments. After having carpal tunnel surgery I requested acupuncture instead of physical therapy and my surgeon referred me to Dr. Barnes. Being in constant pain is exhausting. Dr. Barnes has given me exercises, supplement recommendations, acupuncture treatments and chiropractic adjustments that allow me to function better and cope with my pain better than any other doc

Wonderful doctor. Very thorough with his initial assessment, made me a reasonable treatment plan, and helped me get better! Office staff is always friendly and willing to help. Office is clean and in a great location!

I saw Dr. Barnes for persistent back pain. Upon exam he did not offer any skepticism. He provided exercises. I had 3 follow up visits. I explained the exercises did not alleviate the pain. Again no skepticism. I requested he fill out a status questionnaire. He indicated fully functioning, no limitations up to 8 hrs. This confused me. I called his office to understand how he reconciled questionnaire with office visits. It is unprofessional have the courtesy to return calls.

After a year of treatment elsewhere and many doctors later, I was resigned to a life of pain and agonizing headaches. Within a month of visits with Dr. Barnes, I had hope. He has been able to achieve what I was told was highly improbable. I wish I had started with him the day after the car accident rather than a year later. His staff is as compassionate and caring as he is, even when I have needed an emergency visit with him. I am thankful every day and wouldn't go anywhere else!
