Accepting new patients
Dr. Palmer completed his bachelor's degree in biology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and received his doctorate of optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. His rigorous clinical training has provided him expertise in many eye diseases such as: glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome. Dr. Palmer is one of very few optometrists licensed to treat glaucoma in California. Also, Dr. Palmer specializes in contact lenses, pediatric eye exams, and eye emergencies. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and Tri-County Optometric Association. Aside from work, he is a lifelong swimmer and competed on the Cal Poly swim team. He also enjoys surfing, and camping. Dr. Palmer is truly thrilled to be part of the Nipomo community, as it has been his long-term goal to return to the central coast. He looks forward to meeting you!
