Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
Born in NYC, I grew up in Nairobi, Kenya. My father worked for the UN, and as a family we had homeleave to China every two years. A wonderful way to grow up! After attending 12 years of the International School of Kenya, I emerged with an IB diploma and admittance to Yale University. I studied Biology and followed the BS with two years of cell biology research. From there, I discovered my love for Chinese Medicine, graduating from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine NY campus in 1998. I have been in private practice ever since. Recently, my alma mater introduced the doctorate degree for acupuncturists, which I completed in 2017.
Listening to your entire health history is my specialty. These days, finding a medical professional who sees the whole picture is rare. I take the time to understand everything that is going on with you, and from there we can create a holistic treatment plan. When you have an appointment with me, I start on time and give you as much time as you need to explain your situation. In between sessions, I am easy to reach. And should you need referrals, I will follow-up with your care.
