Amie has been a physician assistant since 1998 and has practiced in the areas of general surgery, family practice, emergency room and obstetrics/gynecology in the Troy and Piqua areas. Amie received her Bachelor of Health Science from the College of Allied Health, Physician Assistant Program at the University of Kentucky as well as a Bachelor of Science from the Collecge of Biological Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Amie is the recipient of multiple awards to include the Clinical Excellence Award from the UK Physician Assistant Program, Dean's List at University of Kentucky, Service Award in Health Professions Students in Service to the Nation from the Lexington Senior Citizens Center, National Collegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll and Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. She is a committee member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants (OAPA). Amie resides in Springfield with her two children.
