Awful. Condescending and disrespectful. Worst part was when asking for a referral for another specialist there was never a follow up. Her own assistant called to apologize for the month long wait but still no referral. I can not expresss just how bad of an experience I had. A little respect could of gone a long way but this doctor acted in a manner that showed poor interpersonal skills. Do not go see her. Save yourself the trouble.

Dr. Sacks-Zimmerman is amazing! For me, she's helping chart a path forward from a very negative place. She has a wealth of experience that she brings into the conversation. Dr. Sacks-Zimmerman is no-nonsense as she challenges you to follow her recommendations but is also encouraging. Most of all, she's given me hope.

Scheduling was easy and the service was very professional and efficient. Dr S-Z was also professional but I don’t believe we were a ‘fit’ for each other as client & patient. I do not have any specific issues I am looking to address so perhaps this hospital clinic is better suited to those with more medically-based needs. I feel the clinical setting was also not conducive to a relaxed, intimate conversation as far as therapy is concerned.

Dr Sacks-Zimmerman has significant expertise understanding cognitive deficits related to TBI, and is able to explain clearly the specific challenges caused by each area of injury - executive functioning, information processing, attention/concentration - that interfere with daily functioning and work. She helps you understand how they interact with each other and design tasks and cognitive exercises that help people make significant improvement. Respectful, caring and a real life-saver.
