Care Philosophy

Every client is the expert of their life. A skillful therapist can be a conduit for change. Through the therapist's empathic and active listening skills, validation, collaboration and a mindful approach to therapy, the development of a strong relationship can happen and change can occur. It is through nuance, attunement, egalitarianism, love and trust by the therapist, which enables clients the space and ability to express themselves fully in a nonjudgmental environment. Healing occurs when a client feels completely understood and acknowledged.

Where do I start?! This woman is absolutely incredible and amazing! She literally saved my life! In January I experienced one of the most horrific, traumatizing events of my life when I lost one of my fur babies. I was going down a bad path with the grieving process and when I decided I needed help, Wendy took me the same day I called her and helped me understand that I was grieving and I never had any coping skills! I honestly don't where I would be now without her help! Thank you again Wendy!
