Dr. Tamara Pawich, PHD
Dr. Tamara Pawich is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Florida and doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). With over 10 years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other childhood disorders (e.g., Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder [ADHD], learning struggles, behavior problems, and anxiety), Dr. Pawich is excited to bring her expertise in psychological testing and therapy services to the families of Cocoa Beach and its surrounding communities. Dr. Pawich earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Florida and her master's degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Michigan University. She completed her psychology residency and postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe-Meyer Institute, further specializing in the assessment and treatment of ASD. Dr. Pawich is a member of the American Psychological Association and Association for Behavior Analysis International, and has published research on clinical interventions for children with ASD in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. She also currently serves on the editorial board for the scientific journal Behavior Analysis: Research and Practice.

    We specialize in working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), specific learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia), and other disorders.  We currently see children and adolescents for psychological evaluation from ages birth through 17 years.  We also provide cognitive-behavioral therapy for pre-teens and adolescents with ASD, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties or those interested in learning coping and social skills.
