Talah Ysaac is the owner and founder of Essex Acupuncture. Talah is dedicated to the health and vitality of her patients. She has a special affinity for health issues that are idiopathic and those which present a conundrum to traditional thinking. Talah also works well in conjunction with Western medical treatments. Talah's ambition is to create a community of like minded practitioners who place the patients well being first by offering collaborative care.
Talah was first introduced to Asian studies when she began her martial art practice in Shotokan karate. After studying for 7 years, Talah began to become interested in pressure points and thus began her study of Acupuncture. Talah continues her interest in mind body medicine with meditation.
Talah has achieved national board certification in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine. She has also garnered the honor of becoming a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Talah is a licensed Acupuncturist and state certified herbologist in the state of New Jersey. She has a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, a four year program that studies both Eastern and Western Medicine. Talah received her Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College and has worked for 20 years as a healthcare support professional.
