Getting out of pain has many paths. Our work together will be a journey. I will be more like the facilitator and educator, as you take the steps toward change. I'm seeing you not as problematic body parts, but as an individual coming in with a history of movements, of behaviors, of prior injuries, of various habits and imbalances brought on by living over time; you have a unique body map.
My approach to working with the body will help you unwind old habits, behaviors, or movement patterns that have led to where you are right now. You will begin to restore movement to joints, to muscles and connective tissues. You will rewire and reconnect nerve pathways to the brain and to the body.
New experiences can unfold as you learn to tune into your nervous system, your breathing, your postural alignment and movements, all of which, are key elements in integrating and sustaining healthy tissues and new motor programs.
This is not a one-session "quick fix"; this is a collaboration of me with you, and you with your body. What I offer you is a sustainable process of bringing new awareness and flow to body parts and movement patterns that may have been "under your radar". By working with these patterns you can feel more vital, and you can restore your system whether your goal is to get out of pain or to eliminate urinary leakage.
