Franklin, MA |
Susan was the second counselor that I found to help me through a very difficult time in my life. My first counselor was a listener - that was it. They provided no advice or guidance. When I found Susan, things changed. She is not only a good listener, but also offered real advice and coping tools to help me navigate a chaotic and sad time. Her guidance not only helped me, but she also offered tools to help my daughter to cope as well. Susan is a solid human being and an excellent counselor.
Natick, MA |
This was our first time in couples counseling and we were unsure as what to expect. However, we knew we needed to take that step to work on our marriage. Susan was professional while also easy to open up with and speak honestly to. She is direct and helpful in identifying issues and negative habits that needed addressing and work. We are deeply grateful to Susan for her help and the positive skill set we take away from her counseling.
Natick, MA |
I've been working with Susan since 2008. What started off as couples counseling ended with individual therapy. Honestly, Susan is more than a therapist - she has become my friend, my confidant, my advocate. She has supported me through many changes in my life - job crisis, friendship challenges, personal loss, parenting issues, new relationships and so much more. Susan provides a safe & nonjudgmental environment. She has helped me to find peace and happiness. I'm honored to have her in my life!
Holliston, MA |
Susan was very helpful in marriage counseling sessions we had with her. She has a direct style that is effective and efficient. She was able to get to the root causes of issues very quickly and it really made a difference for us. We really appreciated her help! Thank you.

Susan helped save my marriage! Like many, my marriage reached a crisis point in the years after children arrived, as the stresses of childcare, jobs, house management, etc. drained the energy from our relationship. Susan helped me discover how old coping mechanisms perpetuated a reactive environment, and provided concrete techniques to ensure that both my wife's and my needs were met. If you are willing to work on yourself, Susan is a fair, balanced and direct partner who can enable real change.
Framingham, MA |
Susan brings a ton of experience, isn't afraid to share her opinions, and calmly guides you through the process of getting better. Simply put, she helped me become a better husband, father, brother, coworker, and friend.
I highly recommend Susan and have already done so for a friend! She draws on her personal experience and openness as well as psychology, counseling, life coaching, etc. She's welcoming and supportive, and her style is more conversational and down-to-business than most therapists. I came to her for help with self-esteem and anxiety but she also ultimately helped me better understand some family dynamics. Note, we tried Skype mtgs a few times but I preferred in-person due to the connection quality

Susan really helped me recover from my depression. Additionally I felt like she was a trusted counselor who I could share anything with her & she was never judgemental. If my depression returns I certainly will be reaching out to Susan again - but to sum it up Susan is a truly awesome mental health professional.
Boston, MA |
I wholeheartedly agree with the comments of the review dated 3/18/2016. Susan is a warmhearted counselor who is an exceptional listener. She remembers details from session to session and astutely helps you work through whatever issues you are dealing with.
Focused and attentive. A compassionate counselor who gently prods you towards finding the answers to your questions. I am so lucky to have found her.
