I have been a Chiropractor since 1997. I love what I do. I crave the improvement of my patients. My motto is "Healing the world, one spine at a time." My tagline is "If you've been in a wreck, bring me your neck." Mission statement: I stand for allowing the body the most natural and optimal environment to be able to innately heal itself through Chiropractic Medicine. I know that each human on the planet has this potential. It's my job through education, motivation, skill and technique to bring this out in my patients. I have been a Virginia Beach resident since 1997. I have been married since 2002.Chiropractic is the art and science of adjusting misaligned joints of the body without the use of drugs or surgery. Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that nerves control every function of the body, from wiggling your toes to blinking your eyes. Every nerve starts in the brain, travels down the spinal cord and exits via the spinal nerves. Chiropractic is the art and science of adjusting misaligned joints of the body, especially of the spine, without drugs or surgery. It's based on the scientific fact that all nerves start up in the brain and are protected by the spine as they travel throughout the body. If a nerve is pinched as it exits the spine, it experiences dysfunction and does not work as well, may cause pain, and irritate the muscles surrounding it. Chiropractors work to realign the spine restoring proper spinal alignment and overall health of the body. The spine is made up of 23 vertebrae that protect the delicate nerves, yet still allowing for movement. Sometimes, through trauma, poor posture, or everyday stress and tension, the vertebrae can become misaligned or "subluxated". The misaligned vertebrae can cause the nerves to become irritated and pinched. Since nerves are very sensitive, anywhere the pinched nerve travels, there will be pain and dysfunction, causing problems such as headaches, neck pain, numbness and tingling in the arms or legs (radiculitis or sciatica), low back pain, and fibromyalgia. Chiropractors adjust the spine back into correct alignment, relieving nerve tension, relaxing tight muscles, and restoring motion while stopping pain and problems.
