Making the decision to enter therapy is a difficult and very personal one. As a therapist, I view this decision as a 'strength.' I commend you on taking this first step in inquiry. While therapy's purpose is to deal with stress and emotional pain, it, too, can be utilized to provide growth, change and empowerment.
I believe therapy is a partnership with someone who knows what you mean and how to help solve painful problems. I can help equip and empower you with confidence in addressing your current struggles. I am fully focused on the individual's well being and will listen to your concerns allowing us, together, to decide on the most appropriate course of action. My focus is to assist you in improving your life by setting achievable goals and learning positive coping skills that will enhance the quality of your life. I am committed to providing a safe, professional and supportive environment facilitating your work toward emotional wellness.
