The most rewarding part of my job is being able to develop a relationship with my patients. As a foot and ankle surgeon, I work with each patient to develop a unique plan that addresses each patient's unique problems. Though I am a surgeon, I believe that most foot and ankle problems can be treated by nonsurgical measures such as orthotics, therapy, injections, medications, etc. We turn to surgery when conservative methods fail and when the patient is ready.
