Dr. Robertson's Care Philosophy

From designer frames and hard to fit contacts to specialized eye surgeries and eye disease treatment, Dr. Robertson and Dr. White are committed to enhancing and protecting your vision. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, Dr. Robertson and Dr. White recommend an annual exam to ensure you have the correct prescription. Even if you do not wear glasses or contacts, you will still benefit from regular eye exams. This is especially important for older adults who are at increased risk for the development of chronic degenerative eye diseases, including, diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts. Since these serious eye diseases do not have early warning symptoms, and early diagnosis and treatment can prevent blindness, the only way to diagnose these diseases is through a comprehensive eye exam.

Have you been told that your eyes are "hard to fit" for contacts? You can still wear contacts; you just need a special prescription for the right kind that correctly fit your eyes. Our optometrist in Mesquite is experienced with fitting hard-to-fit lenses for eyes, including contacts for individuals with advanced astigmatism, keratoconus, dry eyes, giant papillary conjunctivitis (GPC), and presbyopia. If you have been diagnosed with one of these vision conditions and still wish to wear contact lenses, talk to our optometrist about your different options. We also offer corneal molding for reducing or eliminating near-sightedness and astigmatism.
