Tram Pham, AC

Tram Pham was born in Saigon, Vietnam and lived there until her family relocated to the United States when she was six. She meditated with her grandfather when she was a child, and she was inspired to pursue a career helping others heal naturally after seeing the powerful effect meditating had on his life and spirit. After receiving her Master's from Yo San University and launching her career in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she's gained experience administering pain management treatment at the prestigious Los Angeles Children's Hospital, providing care for HIV patients at Being Alive Clinic in West Hollywood, offering care to the under-served community at Venice Family Clinic, and helping professional athletes recover from and prevent injuries at Altus sports medicine institute in Santa Monica. Tram has spent the last few years discreetly serving a wide range of Hollywood actors, celebrities, and executives, accommodating their busy lifestyles with convenient in-home appointments. Tram relocated from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara with her husband in 2016, fulfilling a long-held dream of the pair to raise a family in the most beautiful city they'd ever been. Tram is excited for and humbled to relaunch the Santa Barbara Herb Clinic in a beautiful office at 3760 State St, Suite 102, Santa Barbara, CA 93105.

Acupunture: Tram is a practitioner of the Balance Method. The Balance Method is a revolutionary series of system based predominantly on the use of distal points. Distal points in acupuncture refer to points which are not located at the site of pain.

Herbalism: When appropriate, Tram will prescribe teas, powders, or pills to accompany acupuncture treatments and improve results. We custom blend the prescriptions in our Pharmacy and can have them ready to pick-up or mail them out, whichever is more convenient for our patients.

Cupping (Fire/Dry): Cupping is prescribed for pain management, to relieve fever and cold, and to improve blood circulation.

Moxibustion: Like a therapeutic incense. The therapeutic smoke penetrates the body directly at the scene of problematic areas.

Heat Therapy: Shown to help with pain recovery by bringing warmth to affected areas and promoting release of stagnated energy in injured or painful areas.
