Dr. Nicole Williams is a licensed psychologist who earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Developmental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 2006 and completed an APA approved internship in psychology at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Williams provides Diagnostic Services, Family Therapy and Individual Therapy for ages 10 and older. She specializes in anxiety and stress management in adults and children as well as general emotional issues among young people, and school-related problems, especially those related to giftedness and social skills deficits. She is committed to using evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment based therapy to help alleviate and manage symptoms. She is an advocate of positive behavioral support when addressing a child's difficulties in school or at home. Dr. Williams is an active member of the Council for the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
