I work with individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations. My approach is based on Reichian character analysis and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic theory. The focus is longer-term, depth therapy that addresses root cause rather than a focus on just reducing symptoms. Symptom reduction is a natural result of depth work, but not the primary focus. This type of work includes surfacing and working through deep-seated unconscious patterns of behavior, defenses, attitudes, conflicts, and beliefs that people use to cope and "get by." The overall goal is to achieve and sustain deep character restructuring. I also offer group therapy and orgonomic (Reichian) biopsychotherapy. Orgonomic biopsychotherapy accelerates change through emphasizing the interface between one's psychological/characterological portrait and one's biophysical condition.
