I believe in providing the best medical care available. Most often this means that I will attempt conservative measures first, but when surgery becomes the best option to improve your quality of life, I will advise you accordingly.
I believe as a physician, I have acquired education to provide a needed service to others, and I always strive to faithfully pass on my knowledge and experience to you when I render care. I believe that as a patient, you need to understand your conditions, and I do my best to explain and discuss both the diagnosis and the treatment plan I recommend. I also try to provide additional resources in writing where possible.
I believe that your experience with my staff impacts your overall care, and I strive to hire assistants who will be kind and professional as well as responsive to your needs. I believe that patients should be treated with dignity and compassion whether by myself or by my staff.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have you as my patient.
I grew up in Utah and attended Brigham Young University for my undergraduate degree. It was there that I met my wonderful wife, Amy. We married, and she and my five children (four girls, one boy) have seen me through the years of medical school at the California School of Podiatric Medicine and two residencies, first at the VA in Albuquerque New Mexico and then at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco California where I focused on trauma treatment for the feet and ankles. After I completed residency, we moved to the Texoma area where I have practiced for the last decade. Most of my extra time is spent with my family or in church service. I love participating in sports as well as cheering my kids on in their events, and we ALL love playing on the lake when we get the chance. Between high school and college, I served a two-year mission for my church to Argentina. There I learned to speak Spanish fluently, and I have had the good fortune to serve the Latino community in this area through my practice. I love the Texoma area, the community my children have grown up in, and all of the people we have met here. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to achieve better health through proper footcare.
