I appreciate and value the feedback that is provided. As I perform and specialize in high conflict custody evaluations, there is typically a party who may be dissatisfied with the outcome.  While I am always sympathetic to the pain a family endures while involved with the legal system, I am court appointed to recommend what is in the children's best interest.

It's interesting that Dr. Kilmer's reviews are extremes; 5 stars or 1 star. Likely because Kilmer is extreme and shows clear favoritism in his reports, as though he decides ahead of time who he likes and then creates proof to support his bias. We have experienced both sides. He performed a CFI where we were the perfect family, then five years later, after my husband's ex-wife had divorced her second husband, all of a sudden we were abusive and unfit. Of note, I am a therapist. DON'T USE KILMER!!

Dr. Kilmer has an amazing ability to see through people and situations. He is top notch at what he does given this ability. He is also very direct with you and will not "sugar coat" his opinions as to what is in the best interest of your children. It is clear his opinions are based on his very keen observations and his extensive experience dealing with the range of individuals in such highly contested divorce and custody cases. He clearly explains his conclusions and makes sane recommendations.
Dr Kilmer came across as a hired gun for the other parties law firm. He was unable to see the difference between fact and faction and our child will pay the price by being denied one of his parents unjustified. He abused his power, seemed more concerned with his next referral than with the care of our child and should not be allowed to do PRE evaluations,
