Dr. Nightingale has been in practice for over 25 years. She has been the director of psychiatric hospital units and chemical dependency programs. She is the author of several self help books and has been interviewed by Anderson Cooper, Tom Brokaw, Sandra Freedman, Jerry Springer, George Putnam, among others on psychological issues. She has been a faculty member of The Holmes School of Ministry and La Leache League International. Her conference lectures include topics on parenting, communication and conflict resolution. To stay current in her field and to bring clients the most current therapeutic ideas, she devotes over 200 hours a year to continuing education and specialized training.
