Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Working as a nurse practitioner since 2005; 3 of those years were in Neurology and the other 7 were in Family Practice. I worked as a labor and delivery nurse and Newborn ICU nurse for 8 years prior to finishing NP school. What I love most about my job is the relationships I develop with my patients. I love to help problem-solve and form plans to help my patients get closer to their optimal health.
I have 3 great kids; a son born in 1998, a daughter born in 2002 and a surprise bonus baby born in 2015! I love spending time with my family, especially when we are all just hovering over this cute baby girl in awe of how fun it is to have a baby in the house again. I love reading and researching on medical, religion, philosophy and political topics. I love to go on bike rides and hikes. I love getting to know my neighbors and feel lucky to live by such wonderful people.
