Katelyn has experience addressing a variety of presenting problems, including: anxiety, depression, varying mood disorders, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorder, ADHD and other executive functioning difficulties, PTSD, behavioral challenges, sensory issues, relationship difficulties, parenting issues, school problems, eating disorders, obsessive –compulsive disorder, domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Katelyn will often utilize play therapy when working with children, allowing the child to explore struggles and develop effective coping strategies through play techniques.   When working with adolescents and families, Katelyn employs a variety of evidenced-based techniques such as: dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and emotion-focused therapy.  Katelyn works with her patients to explore valuable strategies to overcome obstacles interfering with their lives.
