Jonathan Pender, MS, NP is a native of Richmond, Virginia and obtained his graduate education and training at the Johns Hopkins University and hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Jonathan rejoined Richmond ENT on October5, 2016 and specializes in treating ear, nose and throat disorders and has over 9 years of diverse clinical experience. Jonathan has a wealth of diverse clinical knowledge and experiences in the specialties of dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. Prior to completing his graduate education, Jonathan was a member of the University of Maryland Oral and Maxillofacial Shock Trauma Surgical Service. While at Johns Hopkins, Jonathan was a clinical researcher and graduate student under an international leader in treating chronic sinusitis and diseases of the paranasal sinuses. Jonathan has also published and lectured in oral and maxillofacial pathology, and common disorders of the oral cavity. Jonathan's clinical interest is in the oral-systemic disease connection, maxillofacial oncology, TMJ disorders and treating sinus disease. He has been working with dentists in the Richmond area for 11 years and was a member of the VCU Pre-Dental Society, volunteer at VCU School of Dentistry, and yearly volunteer at the Mission of Mercy Project.
