Jennifer offers enhanced appointment times to answer your questions, provide education and guidance according to your needs. Freedom to chose unmedicated/natural childbirth or epidural to manage comfort during labor is always respected and honored. Helping women and families achieve the best and safest birth experience is what keeps Jennifer excited about being a nurse practitioner and happy to come to work everyday. She is available 24/7 to provide care to moms and babies in the safety net of the hospital setting. Jennifer encourages women to be as involved in their pregnancy care and birth as much as they desire.
Jennifer has provided women's healthcare services for over 20 years, both as a labor & delivery nurse and as a certified nurse midwife. Jennifer attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where she earned her Master's degree in nurse midwifery in 2001. Since graduation, she has dedicated herself to providing excellent patient care to the women in her community. In 2009, she received a four-year award from the Department of Health and Human Services, National Health Service Corps for her services and today remains committed to providing access to healthcare services for women in underserved areas. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and welcomes new patients to her practice. When she is not helping new babies enter the world, she can be found spending time with her husband and children, biking, swimming, or quilting.
