The entire office was wonderful and extremely pleasant. Dr. Alexander explained everything during my exam and answered all of my questions. He was extremely thorough and did not make me feel like he needed to rush through my appointment. One of my best experiences with a doctor.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Dr. Alexander's Care Philosophy

Patients that come to see me have problems with their foot or their ankle. Oftentimes it's tendinitis, something called plantar fasciitis - or heel pain - they have a fracture, they have a symptomatic bunion. Their hope is that I can fix the problem either surgically or non-surgically. Sometimes that's physical therapy. Sometimes it's something as simple as an orthotic or a shoe insert that we put in their shoe. Much of what I do falls into the category of limb salvage. And these are patients that are in jeopardy of loosing part of their foot, part of their leg to amputation as a result of any number of medical conditions - one of which being diabetes. Sometimes we'll see patients that have seen two or three other doctors that have told them that there's no hope, and their only option is amputation. When we can prevent this amputation, and return this patient back to function, that is extremely satisfying.
