Janene enjoys educating her patients about how acupuncture works. She believes an integrative approach to health and wellness offers the best possible outcome for her patients. Janene Borandi is a Utah licensed acupuncturist. She holds a Diplomate of Acupuncture Certification by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Janene graduated from the Maryland University of Integrative Health in 2014 and worked in private practice in Maryland and DC until moving to St. George, Utah in December 2016. Back east, Janene had a very rewarding practice, serving patients with sports-related injuries, chronic pain, arthritis, depression, anxiety, addiction, digestive and respiratory problems, back pain, fatigue, migraines, allergies, sleep disorders, fertility, symptoms associated with pregnancy, and other gynecological concerns. In addition to her private practice, Janene worked at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she provided acupuncture to Veterans with extremely complex case histories. She also volunteered with Acupuncture for Veterans in Maryland, where she provided free ear acupuncture to Veterans. Janene holds the following licenses and certifications: Certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Licensed Acupuncturist through the Virginia Board of Medicine, and the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing Certified in Clean Needle Technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) Certified in CPR/BLS by the American Heart Association Certified Acu Detox Specialist by National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI)
