Our patients have not only the right, but the responsibility to take an active part in their healthcare. No decision is made without 100% agreement from the patient.
As a former aerospace and mechanical engineer, Dr. Lane has a unique understanding of the biomechanics of the spine and extremities. He completed his post-graduate internship under the direction of Dr. Bill Defoyd at The Spine and Rehabilitation Center in Austin focusing on the McKenzie method of diagnosis and treatment for spinal disorders. While there, he worked alongside orthopedic and spinal surgeons. He utilizes an evidence-based approach in the treatment of conditions involving the musculoskeletal system and believes that each patient has not only the right, but the responsibility to participate in the decisions regarding their care. He treats each patient as an individual, and places a heavy emphasis on active rehabilitation, exercise, self-treatment, and nutrition. When necessary, passive manual therapies such as myofascial release and manipulation will be utilized to most efficiently achieve recovery.
