We do not double book patients and take great pride in seeing our patients at their scheduled appointment times, it is rare that Dr. Solon will be behind schedule.
At the time of your appointment you should expect that Dr. Solon will take the time to listen to you and talk with you to get a very complete history of your foot or ankle condition. In office diagnostic digital radiographs and ultrasound exams are done to evaluate many conditions, Dr. Solon will go over these exams with you at the time of your visit so you have a good understanding of your condition. Dr. Solon believes that your education and understanding of problem that you have is very important and is the first step in getting your condition treated. You should expect that you will be given several treatment options and that in most instances conservative care will be recommended as a good starting point. In this office your questions are encouraged and you can expect that your questions will be answered by Dr. Solon in a manner that is easy to understand. Dr. Solon believes that while he is in the treatment room with you, he is there to care for you; so you will not find him typing notes into a computer during your visit, you will have his attention for your entire visit.

Dr. Solon is a native of Grand Rapids; attended the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine; residency was completed in Boston through Harvard University and the Greater Boston Hospital Residency; Board Certification is through The American Board of Lower Extremity Surgeons. Dr. Solon has been in practice in Grand Rapids since 1986.
