At SUMA Wellness Centers, we are here to be an integral part of our patients' physical, emotional and spiritual welfare. We are pioneers in solution-based healthcare by discovering and integrating alternative therapies with traditional modalities to improve the quality of life for our patients.
Our team strives to communicate clearly, effectively and compassionately in every interaction without exception. We are consistently training and honing our skills to provide healthcare of the highest caliber as we educate our clients along the way. We listen, listen, listen...in order to discover the needs and concerns of every individual that comes through our doors.
I am a board certified Acupuncture Physician working in an integrative medical facility along side a Doctor and Physician's Assistant. In this collaborative environment, we strive to provide care that is best for the patient and their health philosophy, be it conventional or alternative. I carefully listen to patient's health goals and work to help them attain that end. For the past 7 years I concurrently worked with Sport Chiropractors in the field of pain, injury and nutrition. That experience has helped me broaden my understanding of the dynamics of pain and injury. In December of 2014 I accepted a fulltime position at SUMA. In 2012, I returned to my Alma Martar as an adjunct professor, and I currently teach the concepts of Clean Needle Technique and safety as well as the clinical application of needling and manipulation of the tools that are used in Chinese Medicine.
