I view therapy as a collaborative way for anyone who feels stuck to create movement in their life. Therapy can help you examine your perceptions, assumptions, values, goals, thought patterns, and your relationships. Talking problems through with a nonjudgmental, neutral third party can inspire a new perspective. I enjoy working with clients on the relationships that work best for them, and specialize in working with individuals, couples and families dealing with anxiety/depression, stress, self-esteem, grief and loss, change, and relationship issues. I currently see adolescent & adult clients Monday-Thursday, & teach Gender Perspectives & Family Therapy at a local university. Treatment modality options include: individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Initially, we'll set up a treatment plan and goals, and agree on between session plans to further those goals. I believe that my clients are the experts of their own lives, and defer to their goals and wishes for how we will spend our time in therapy.
