Before becoming a practitioner of Chinese medicine, I studied and taught human biology at the college level and marveled at the intricacies and natural wisdom of the body. I had a life-changing experience with acupuncture when I was 26; after only a few treatments, my extreme neck pain and dependence on using an inhaler for asthma were greatly improved. Acupuncture had a profound effect on my quality of life. That, my love for medicine, and belief in treating the root cause of illness inspired me to pursue this rewarding career. I have 2 Master degrees from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College as well as a Master in Biology from SUNY New Paltz. My passion is combining my knowledge in human biology and that of Chinese medicine fully understand your health condition and treat effectively. ?My goal at 518 Acupuncture is to provide you with compassionate care and positive results.
