Listening to your entire health history is my specialty. These days, finding a medical professional who sees the whole picture is rare. I take the time to understand everything that is going on with you, and from there we can create a holistic treatment plan. When you have an appointment with me, I start on time and give you as much time as you need to explain your situation. In between sessions, I am easy to reach. And should you need referrals, I will follow-up with your care.
Born in NYC, I grew up in Nairobi, Kenya. My father worked for the UN, and as a family we had homeleave to China every two years. A wonderful way to grow up!
After attending 12 years of the International School of Kenya, I emerged with an IB diploma and admittance to Yale University. I studied Biology and followed the BS with two years of cell biology research.
From there, I discovered my love for Chinese Medicine, graduating from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine NY campus in 1998. I have been in private practice ever since. Recently, my alma mater introduced the doctorate degree for acupuncturists, which I completed in 2017.
